Look I know this is late, but please, I have only just managed to get on the press list and therefore it’s the first time I have had access to this information, obviously from now on I have no excuse.!

Sayed bests Ayideng at RUFF 2, Dong and Jumabieke remain undefeated
Chongqing, CHINA – On a night when Jiu Jitsu ruled, it was a battle of bantamweight sluggers that captivated the crowd at RUFF 2 .
After lightweight Wan HongChen and featherweight Li BoLin reigned victorious with an impressive succession of rear naked choke and armbar submissions, South African Muay Thai specialist Irshaad Sayed went the distance against Ayideng Jumayi to earn the split decision win, 29-28, 29-28, 28-29.
Going punch for punch, Sayed and Ayideng exchanged brutal rights for three rounds, in a match that could have gone either way. While Sayed drew first blood, catching Ayideng below the right eye, Ayideng briefly stunned Sayed on two occasions with his own vicious attack.
Only a late takedown by Sayed in the third round proved to be the difference, in what was later named the “Nike fight of the Night.”
In the evening’s biggest shocker, featherweight Dong YanJun came from behind to submit Xue GuoBin with a textbook rear naked choke at 4:23 in the third round.
While Xue clearly out punched and out wrestled Dong throughout the whole contest, continuously slamming Dong on the mat, he gave up position late in the match, allowing Dong to stand up one last time.
From there, Dong earned his only takedown of the bout, securing the win with a choke that was ultimately awarded the “Ducati Submission of the Night.”*
Featherweight Jumabieke Tuerxun extended his undefeated streak to 23, out-classing Zhao YanFei in a unanimous decision, 30-27, 30-26, 30-27, in the evening’s bloodiest affair.
Zhao looked confident in the first round, keeping the match standing, easily absorbing Jumabieke’s heavy right cross on a number of occasions, but in the second and third rounds he was unable to defend against the take down, opening the door for Jumabieke to land an assault of body and head shots from the guard, throwing in a couple of elbows for good measure.
Brazilian lightweight Rodrigo Caporal, making his first appearance in the RUFF cage, then demonstrated why he is considered one of the premiere Brazilian Jiu Jitsu artists in the world.
Caporal, the 2010 Abu Dhabi Pro champion, easily handled his opponent HasiTieer TeerJiang, wasting no time, immediately taking the fight to the ground, where he wrapped up a nasty armbar, earning the submission victory, and the “Ranik Submission of the Night,” at 1:24 in round one.
Finally, lightweight Wang Guan proved that he may have the hardest set of hands in China, submitting Wang JinGang via strikes at 50 seconds in the first round.
Landing a picturesque head kick right off the opening bell, Wang Guan took JinGang down from there, laying down a series of hammer punches to the head. Unable to defend against Wang Guan’s heavy assault, JinGang tapped out almost instantly, giving the win to Wang Guan.
The stage is now set for a number of interesting matchups at RUFF 3, both Jumabieke and Dong YanJun, RUFF’s only remaining undefeated featherweights, hinting that they’d like go at each other in the next event. Sayed also mentioned that he’d be up for a rematch with Ayideng, should RUFF matchmakers force the issue.
