Japanese MMA ZST Swat! 46
So another event this weekend is Japan’s ZST – Swat! 46 to be held at West Chofu Combat Sports Arena, Chofu, Tokyo, Japan. Oh and it’s a cracker (not!)
We only have the information I have managed to cull from their website and sadly it’s not an English language site and it’s really hard to make head or tale of the google translated version, but I will do my best and I have mixed that with what I could find on Sherdog. There could be many mistakes as the two sites don’t agree on all the matches and I do not know for sure the order of the bouts. But here’s what i have sort of managed to get.
Bout:
Ryosuke Yanaka (0-3-1)
Hasabe Yu (no record) oh my I bet they are all looking forward to this fight!
Bout:
Trey Reliford (no record)
Fumiya Hashimoto (6-5-0) Japanese MMA really is in the toilet isn’t it, no record against two losses in a row.
Bout:
Shuya Arimura (4-5-1) It makes you wonder what you have to do to get dropped from ZST, his last two fights at ZST were both losses one of which lasted just 37 seconds and the other scrapped into the second round – both ended up with him knocked out.
Kosei Takimoto (1-6-0) really is this fight not better suited to a small provincial amateur event. These guys are equally bad so it could actually turn into a fight but sadly I doubt it.
Bout:
Toru Washiyama (0-0-1)
Manabu Kanda (1-0-0) Wow, just wow this fight actually features two fighters who have not got a professional loss (yet)
Bout:
Yasiyuki Kamo (0-2-1) Wow this guy is really on an upward trend in his career after two losses he has a draw
Seio Yamada (no record)
Bout :
Hiroaki Yoshioka (0-1-2) another superstar of ZST
Keigo Kawamoto (1-2-5) is it just me or does there seem to be a lot of draws in ZST
Bout:
Yoshinari Shinba (9-8-6-2) (see what I mean about draws)
Akinori Fujisawa(1-0) A fighter who has a distinctly average recent record against a guy who is 1-0, whoopee!
Bout:
Kobayashi Ryota Take your pick he has two records on Sherdog (1-2-5) and (0-1-0) both real stunners huh!
Yuki Shirai (5-9-4) coming off of a fabulous 4 fight losing streak!
Bout:
Toshihisa Shinomiya (1-0-0)
Norihiko Hattori (1-2-1)
The really sad thing is it makes the Deep card I covered yesterday looked half decent. If this is the best that ZST can put on they must be hanging on to life by a very thin thread.
Tomorrow we will look at Heat 22 and I sincerely hope it’s better than the offerings from Deep and ZST because if not SFL in just its second event is going to have the best Asian show of the weekend by quite some distance.
