More GODS FC MMA Kuala Lumpur Vs Singapore Info
Here’s some information on the fighters I knew nothing about kindly provided by the Organisers.
Umutbek Malikov vs Allamurad Karayev – 57kg
Malikov from Kyrgystan, has experience in Army hand to hand fighting, which apparently is similar to kick boxing, he also has amateur boxing experience. So, given that Karayev also likes to stand and bang this could be a very exciting fight.
57 kg 170cm and just 21 years old.
Leon Low vs Shodiyor Djurabekov – 57kg
Low is a member of Penang Top Team and is regarded as one of their top strikers, so we could just have another stand up battle royale.
Teh Kah Wei (1-1-0) vs Yalkun Avvaydulayev – 80kg
Kah Wei is coming off a lose to Isamu Himura recently and will be determined to get back to winning ways.
Avvaydulayev is Sambo fighter from Kazakstan.
Nik Harris vs Gary Maclay – 80kg
Maclay is another member of Penang Top Team and is a judo fighter with additional striking skills.
Andy Teh Team KL vs Syafiq Abdul Samad Team SG – 70kg
Teh is the youngest 5th Dan Tae Kwon Do black belt in Malaysia, he is a solid striker and has been improving his ground game at Muayfit under none other than Eric (The Natural) Kelly and Pete Brooks. So he should pose a real threat.
Samad is a member of Singapore Juggernaut Fight Club and anybody who watched the recent ONE FC event War of the Lions in Singapore will know that they have good quality fighters. And as one of their up and coming fighters Samad is said to have a solid base in Muay Thai. It remains to be seen if his game is rounded enough to pose a threat to Teh.
