DARE 1-12 Shane Ronin Wiggand Vs Marko Mad Dog Huusansaari A Bloody War
So we were two fights in both powerful but all too brief, the crowd were happy, there was no doubt the fans had come to fight but we really needed a longer fight, we were about to get it in spades!

ROUND 1:
Maddog circles and throws a punch, then a jab which is answered by an outside legkick from Ronin, they move into a clinch, a knee from Ronin and then a teep kick which Mad Dog catches, they circle some more and then Ronin puts in a solid body kick which again Mad Dog catches and Ronin falls to the floor, he gets straight back up taking two punches on the way, they clinch again, a knee from Ronin and then a couple of punches, more knees from Ronin and Mad Dog covers up briefly, they diengage and Ronin places another body kick, they circle more, Ronin kicks again and they clinch, Ronin delivers a very good hook, Mad Dog takes more shots, Mad Dog retaliates and lands some good punches of his own and they take effect, Ronin is taking some solid strikes, he drops his arms and taunts Mad Dog leaving himself open for me shots, they are against the fence, Ronin lands a knee and MadDog goes the legs trying to go for a takedown, he get’s Ronin down and is in guard he passes into full mount and Ronin tries to defend himself as Mad Dog starts to rain strikes on him, then he goes for an armbar, Ronin tries to escape and almost gives up his back, it’s a bad position, Ronin is bleeding. Mad Dog has his back and continues to strike Ronin, Ronin is rolling and is not defending himself but somehow managed to get out the backdoor and Ronin takes control, briefly before they are up again, Mad Dog is trying for the single leg trying to pull it our, Ronin defends well, MadDog starts to punch and Ronin retaliates and puts Mad Dog on his ass with a vicious punch, Ronin immediately moves in for the kill and Ronin starts to attack, Mad Dog is soon bleeding heavily, Ronin lays some elbows into Mad Dog, he soon has Mad Dog stacked against the cage and starts punches solid punches to the body.
They are back up and Ronin starts again with the leg kicks both inside and outside and Mad Dog replies with some hooks, it’s Ronin’s kicks against Mad dogs hooks and the kicks are winning. Mad Dog still keeps coming forward and Ronin lays more kicks, they keep going right up to the bell.
An epic first round, Mad Dog is blooded and did appear to be tiring at the end of the round. The crowd are very exited and the noise level has stepped up a notch.
There was a delay before the start of the second round as the Doctors checked on the fighters, especially Mad Dog who was very blooded.
Round 2:
The crowd are pumped up at the start of this round, the fighters go straight to a clinch, Attempted knee to the head by Ronin but fails to land it, he tries again but is pushed over, Mad Dog get’s on top and is soon in Ronin’s guard, Ronin tries to isolate an arm, Mad Dog postures up and lays some punches, Mad Dogs throws shots to the body, He postures up throws up and throws some punches and then is pulled back into guard, this goes on a few times. Mad Dog has Ronin against the cage and tries to get an armbar on Ronin, he fails and goes back into guard. They are on the floor for quite a while and Mad Dog appears to be resting. The ref stands them up.
Ronin starts with to punches to the face and body, Mad Dog kicks back but Ronin is taking control and he has a flurry of punches, Mad Dog is really taking a lot of shots, Ronin tries a head kick but does not connect fully luckily for Mad Dog. The fight direction has changed Ronin has definitely taken control, he seems to be the fitter of the two fighters and his punches have caused more damage, but Mad Dog is still in there. Neither fighter looked like they were finished. The crowd are gettinga real treat. Heading into the final round.
Round 3:
If the crowd were pumped up before, right now they were ready to explode. Two explosive rounds down and one more about to happen.
The crowd give the fighters a cheer before the third round starts, the fighters touch gloves, immediately Ronin goes for an outside leg kick, Mad Dog avoids it, they start punching, straight and hooks, Mad Dog starts swinging some big shots but they are not as strong as his earlier efforts. Ronin ties him up throws a knee which misses the head, Mad Dog is still swinging trying to finish it. Ronin punches him straight down the middle on the nose, Ronin is jabbing at Mad Dogs face and many of them are getting through. Ronin throws a high kick but it misses Mad Dog, Ronin is continuing with the jabs, Mad Dog throws some hooks and they tie up. Ronin’s jab is still having an effect both fighters throw knees in the clinch. They separate and it’s clear that Ronin has the superior speed and positioning at this stage in the fight.
Mad Dog goes for a take down but Ronin shakes him off, Mad Dog tries again, Ronin again avoids it easily, Ronin continues to pour more punches onto Mad Dogs face. Then Ronin places a great straight punch followed up by a hook, both supurb, mad Dog tries to respond. Ronin places a very powerful headkick on Mad Dog who is still standing and he tries and fails with a kick of his own.
Ronin is fully in control but Mad Dog is not giving up and is still dangerous, Ronin starts placing some good leg kicks and then Mad Dog gets a very strong punch through, the blood is everywhere, Mad Dog tries again for a single leg. Mad Dog goes back up and starts swinging with power. But Ronin is in control, Mad Dog gives a good solid kick to Ronin body, both fighters are still going, this fight is going at full speed, Ronin still has the advantage, Mad Dog tries some elbows, as the ten second timer goes Mad Dog tries one last valiant effort and attacks Ronin, Mad Dog kicks Ronin’s head and he covers up as Mad Dog attacks, the fight is over.
The crowd cheer their appreciation as it goes to the judges.
The scores are in: 27-30, 28-29 and 27-30 a unanimous decision to Ronin.
That was one hell of a fight. Both fighters left it all in the ring.
