UFA 2 - War of Kings - Results

UFA 2 ~ War of Kings

UFA 2 event - War of Kings concluded with most victories from the Xian Sports Institute Extreme Sanda Team.  Xian is proving itself to be the home of MMA again after a year long break.

UFA 2 is the stepping stone for up and coming talents to gain the experience and exposure.  In the past MMA events such as Ultimate Wrestle in Xian is where fighters like JuMaBieke, Wang Guan, Zhang Tie Quan (UFC) and recently signed by ONE FC, Zhao Ya Fei started their career.

The Extreme Sanda Team cornered by  Instructor, MMA veteren Vaughn Anderson, have been training in the past 6 months in the ground game and proving themselves a force to be reckon with.  With recent victories by Wang Guan against BJJ black belt Sandro da Silva in RUFF, Zhang Mei Xuan tapping out purple belt Amu from China Top Team, the fighters from Xian have shown much more confidence in fighting against ground fighters and have very impressive skills in their striking and importantly defending from take downs and submissions.

  1. Good thing that they have their own MMA league so when they reach the big leagues they are not that green anymore.

I don't know with ONE FC for getting fighters with 0 fight records. Are they just being cozying up with the host countries? It is not really cool to watch amateurs

    1. I say let the debutant fighters fight in the smaller leagues before they jump to the big leagues. They have to earn their place in ONE FC.
