An Interview with the SFL's Priyanka Sharma

Priyanka Jeet Toshi ~ SFL Challenger

I first saw Jeet Toshi as she was then billed at an event in Singapore back in march 2012 where she fought Singaporean Nicole Chua, sadly losing via rear naked choke in the first round. This must have been quite an experience for the young Indian who was performing in front of a noisy Singaporean crowd in only her second MMA bout and her first outside of India.

The next we heard of her was as Priyanka Sharma on the Super Fight League TV reality show Challengers. 

Here's What Priyanka had to say about here time on SFL Challengers

"oh about my experience with the SFL challengers.. it was a great eye opener and and a great lesson. the stay and meeting all the fighters with the same dream as mine was really amazing. 

I went in to the show as a fighter and came out of the show completely a diffrent fighter from what I was, not just with skills and fitness but the knowledge. 

It was a little different to learn the grappling, but I was also shocked how fast I could catch up as well. 

All togather it was a lot of fun yet at the same time difficult and most of all educational. 

At the moment I'm training hard on my weaknesses and trying to make sure I have a total game and I'm feeling good about how it's going. 

I feel a completely different and better fighter, I dont fear where the fight goes anymore. 

I would love to fight the opponents I didn't get the Win with and to show that I'm coming back with some new surprises.

My whole career in martial arts I have been fighting opponents 10kg or more heavier than me. 

It was something I got used to, beating them was no major a problem, coming into MMA field the weight plays more of a role in the game than I am used to. 

Now that I have learned to accept it im ready to face anyone. 

But I do wish I could get to fight opponents at my weight so I can really see the depth of my strength".

Quite an amazing year of experiences for Priyanka.
