This Saturday in Johor Bahru Ultimate MMA Academy present Ultimate Beatdown 8

Forget all the bullshit you read about which are the top ten gyms in Asia written by people who have no way of measuring such things.

Forget all the bullshit about which is the longest established MMA gym in Malaysia (hint: The Ultimate MMA Academy).

Forget all the political bullshit that is stopping completely untried fighters from certain gyms from fighting in small organizations events just because that gym is part of the Great Sith Lords Dark Empire. God knows how these guys are going to get any experience.

Forget all the bullshit that follows when fighters try to make their own decisions about who manages them. I mean who really owns the fighters? Surely nobody. They are individuals, if they choose to fight under your banner you get the benefit of the reflected glory you don’t get to own them.

Forget the bullshit that see’s certain fighters being built up in the same way boxers used to be by handing them easy fights, yet carrying on as if they are all-conquering. Taking apart somebody who does not have the skill or experience necessary to be in the cage (or ring) with you is no great victory and no amount of sycophantic  press coverage can hide the fact that you beat somebody that you would beat ten times out of ten all day long!

Forget all the bullshit sycophantic press who won’t write the sort of stuff we write because they are afraid that the Great Sith Lords Dark Empire will take away their nice cosy cage side seats and make them pay for their own tickets, fuck you all you pathetic suck-ups. (Oh and if you think this might be you it probably is!)

Forget all that bullshit because on Saturday 5th May at Ultimate MMA Academy you get to see some grassroots MMA and K1 fights. There is no glamour, this is held in a small gym above a petshop, these people are not fighting for money or for glamour, they are fighting because  that’s why they have been training. They are under no illusion that they are the best fighters in the world but they are warriors and they want to strut their stuff.
