Perth’s premier MMA promotion Superfight Australia 14 has announced a middleweight title clash between Steve ‘The Steamrolla’ Kennedy and Hale Vaa’sa as the main event when they return to the WA Italian Club on Friday, July 27.

As promised further additions have been made to the card with exciting local and interstate fighters that are sure to have the crowd roaring.

Glen Austin, who fights out of M1FC is another regular to SFA and always a crowd favourite with his exciting performances. Never one to leave it with the judges Austin has always finished his fights with TKO’s or submissions and has victories over Scott Mapley and Josh Forrester. Austin is slated to face South Australian fighter David De Conte.

South African Dave ‘The Animal’ Vergers against Dave ’Machete’ Johnson. Both having a strong local following, Vergers has just come off a first rd KO win over Sydney fighter Manny Rodrigues the former CFC world welterweight champion. Johnson a Perth local is going to be a tough one to beat having a 4w 1l record he will be looking for the KO or submission from the sound of the bell, this bout is going to be a war and is set to get the crowd lifting the roof of the ceiling.

Also matched is Dean ‘Ogre’ Roberts up against another South Australian fighter Mike Turner. Roberts has stormed through all three opponents thus far winning via KO or TKO. His victories include Joel Stirling, Jason Rooke and Dave “The Iron Giant” Keeley.
