ONE FC 5 Update: Arlovski, Pulver Matchups
According to MMA-Japan.com, Andrei Arlovski is set to face Soa Palelei at ONE FC 5, going down in the Philippines.
Arlovski was last seen fighting for ProElite, defeating Ray Lopez by TKO (punches) back in August of 2011, and then defeating Travis Fulton by KO (head kick) three months later. Soa Palelei is an Australian mixed martial artist, having fought for Pride, UFC, XFC and CFC. He has beaten the likes of Henry Miller, Yusuke Kawaguchi, and more recently Bob Sapp.
Jens Pulver is also set to compete at ONE FC 5, facing undefeated Filipino featherweight Eric Kelly.
Pulver is a former UFC Lightweight Champion and former WEC title contender, having notable wins over BJ Penn, Dennis Hallman, and Joe Stevenson. Eric Kelly is the reigning URCC Featherweight Champion, and is undefeated with seven wins, and having finished his first six opponents within the first round by submission. He holds notable wins over Mitch Chilson and Bae Young Kwon.
