Cung Le Books His Place in Macau for UFC on Fuel 6 (maybe)

Dana White indirectly announced that Cung Le will be on the card at UFC on Fuel 6, the promotion’s maiden voyage to China.

White made the announcement during UFC 148: Silva vs Sonnen II post-fight press conference. A reporter asked Cung Le when and if Cung Le would like to fight next. Le responded that he was not sure when he would fight again.

Dana then said,

“Let me translate that for you. Cung said he wants to go back into the gym and get ready for China”.
A shocked Le then repeated what Dana said.

As it is a UFC on FUEL event, it is unclear if White will be willing to take his title contenders to China. As it stands, it seems possible that Vietnamese-born American Cung Le may even headline the card.

UFC on FUEL 6 will take place on November 10 at the 15,000-seater Cotai Arena, Macau.

MMAnewsAsia.com will keep you updated on all the latest information regarding the card as soon a it’s made available.
