So Here We Go Again It’s Preview Time
Australian Fighting Championship 3
April 14th at 110 Victoria at North Geelong, Melbourne
Bout 1:
Dan Hyatt Vs Jamie Stewart
Hyatt (5-4-1) is a solid opponent for anybody so……
Stewart (1-0-0) is going to have one heck of a test here if he wants to go 2-0.
Bout 2:
Troy Resic Vs Mikey Vaotuua (both these fighters have no record)
Bout 3:
Bec Hyatt (1-1-0) Vs Daniela Marjanovic
Bour 4:
Chris Bedford Vs Sam Faiers (no record)
Bout 5:
Manuel Rodriguez Vs Luke Jumeau
Rodriguez (9-2-0) has a very good record in various Australian organisations including a very good record in arguably Australia’s biggest championship the Cage Fighting Championship (CFC).
Jumeau (3-1-0) might just be taking a step too far in this bout, but he promises much.
Bout 6: AFC Lightweight Championship Title Bout
Daniel Hooker Vs Rusty McBride
Hooker (5-4-0) is a bit of a mixed bag with a couple of wins and a couple of losses and then a couple of wins, following that, this should be a loss, but of course life is not like that.
McBride (4-1-0) is looking like a really good opponent, so this should could be an exciting fight, leading to a worthy champion.
Bout 7:
Richie Vaculik Vs Matt Jaggers
Vaculik (8-1-0) Is going to bring it, his only loss was to Gustavo Falciroli and that went all the way to a decision, the rest of his fights have all been wins and he has very good submission skills.
Jaggers (20-7-0) an American is a very experienced fighter who has been a bit of a traveller, fighting in many different organisations. Now he is bringing his experience to Australia. This promises to be an exciting battle.
Main Event: AFC Heavyweight Title Fight
Soa Palelei vs Joe Kielur
Palelei (15-3-0) could never be considered a lazy fighter, although an ex-UFC fighter he has not sat back on his past and is working hard to push his way back into contention. He has already had two fights this year and both were wins. and his recent record is testament to his power with a few very quick finishes.
Joe Kielur (3-0-0) is going to have to be really on his game to wrest a win from the by far more experienced man, his record of three wins inside of just 4 minutes is impressive but the quality of fighters he has tackled do not come close to Palelei.
So, that’s it then it looks like a really good evenings entertainment in the beautiful city of Melbourne.
