Legend 8 – Jakarta – Legend Release Details Of Two More Bouts

Legend Fighting Championship have just released details of two more bouts for Legend 8

@ Jakarta Convention Center, Senayan, Indonesia – March 30th

Our earlier post covered most of the fights but Legend have released two more exciting bouts with I believe a further two to follow soon.

Haotian Wu (5-1-1) (China) Vs Daniel Hooker (5-3-0) (New Zealand)

Wu is a veteren of the Art of War organisation and a successful one at that with a (4-1-1) record under that organisation and his last fight was a win at the grandly named World MMA Professional Championship. He has a very good ground game and I am sure will be hoping to snare Hooker into going to ground with him.

Hooker has come up through the New Zealand and Australian scenes and like Wu is on a two fight winning streak. Hooker likes to stand and fight and will not want to be taken to the ground by Wu who is a submission expert, I love these kind of fights as each fighter tries to get the other to play his game.

The Other fight is:

Jazor “The Razor” Ablasi (2-0-0) (Philippines) (Lakay MMA) Vs Danaa Batgerel (1-0-0) (Mongolia) (Team Tungaa)

Ablasi is a well known figure in the Philippine MMA scene and his two pro MMA fights so far were both at high level events (Martial Combat and PXC). The younger and taller Batgerel has a nice knock out win at Legend 6 to his credit and will prove to be a real test to Ablasi but let’s not forget just how successful the fighters from Team lakay are in their forays into the wider MMA world. The best fights are most often the ones you can’t see an obvious winner in and this fight fits right into that folder. Batgerel is a team-mate of present Legend Lightweight Champ Jadamba Nurantungalag.
