DARE – Announce An All Thai Featherweight Affair – EZ2DJ Vs TDR
Dear Friends,
DARE 1/12 FEATHERWEIGHT FIGHT
Dare Fight Sports is proud to present the second Featherweight fight (66 kilos/ 145lbs) of the DARE 1/12 event, coming to you Live from Club Insomnia Bangkok and broadcasted live on www.darelive.tv and on www.gfl.tv on 7th of January 2012:
EZ2DJ – Teerapak Saetae VS TDR – Tondamrong Panjabutra.
This is an all Thai affair between two fighters who have come up through the domestic amateur scene. Both are unbeaten in amateur MMA and TDR – Tondamrong Panjabutra holds a black belt in Judo while EZ2DJ – Teerapak Saetae is an expert in the ancient Thai art of Muay Chaiya.
The winner of this fight will proceed to the Quarter-Final level of the DARE Championship and be one step closer to becoming one of the first DARE Champions and the receivers of the One Million Dollar Grand Bonus.
ONE MILLION DOLLARS. IN A CAGE. GAME ON.
EZ2DJ – EZ2DJ is an unbeaten Naksu champion with a record of 3-0, who has evolved from a crude street fighter to a fully fledged mixed martial artists. He began his fighting career taking par in unlicensed and unregulated fights but has developed into a much more disciplined fighter who is an expert in the old Thai self defence system of Muay Chaiya and also has a solid submission game.
EZ2DJ represents Siam Yuth Baan Kru Preang in his DARE debut fight.
TDR – TDR is one of the owners of the Panjabutra Gym in Chiang Mai which is home to some of the best Judokas in the country who are increasingly turning their attention to MMA. He is unbeaten in amateur MMA with a perfect record of 2-0 and has been working hard to get his striking and ground game up to the same level as his outstanding Judo.
TDR represents his home gym, Panjabutra Gym in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Here are the thoughts of veteran MMA journalist James Goyder,
“Both these fighters are unbeaten but there is a big difference between taking part in amateur competition and stepping inside the DARE cage. I expect to see some wild and unpredictable striking and very much doubt this one will make it out of the first round. I think TDR’s Judo skills could make the difference, particularly if he can force EZ2DJ to clinch up against the cage.” he said.
