Valor Fight ~ Resolution ~ Australia’s Newest MMA Organisation

Valor Fight ~ Resolution ~ Australia’s Newest MMA Organisation

Valor Fight Resolution

June 9th 2012 ~ Launceston, Australia

MMA in Australia really continues to grow at a pace and the UFC have shown just how important a market it is for them by announcing the Smashes, An England vs Australia edition of TUF.

Enter into the fray, Valor Fight a new organisation who are holding their first ever event this coming Saturday.

Now, it would be fair to say that 99.9% of these fighters will mean nothing to anybody in our end of Asia. In fact I’m willing to bet the only fighter we may have heard of is the upcoming female MMA fighter Bec Hyatt.

But, that does not mean we should not send them some love and support, Australia is a big ass country and can easily support another organisation. And the fact that this one is in Tasmania which is often the butt of many jokes (rather like Cornwall in the UK which funnily enough is where Launceston is also!) means we should support it all the more, because that’s how we roll.

This is the first ever MMA event to be held in a cage in Launceston, Tasmania and it will be featuring many local fighters from some of the states most reputable martial arts gyms and academies.

Most of the fighters are making debuts with Bec Hyatt at 2-1-0 being the most experienced fighter on the card.

You can bet your life if these guys and girls can start to build some records on Tasmania, Organisations on the Mainland will come knocking and from there well, Australian fighters have made it to various Asian events most notably Legend. And of course they have a pretty good record with fighters who made it to the UFC

You can find the Fight Card HERE:

We at MMAnewsAsia would like to wish Valor fight the best of luck with this event and if you are in Tasmania go along and give them some love, but be quick I hear tickets are selling fast.
