RUFF is China’s first ever government-sanctioned MMA organization. “RUFF 2,” December 17, 2011 @ JiangNan Sports Center, Chongqing, China.
Ranik Ultimate Fighting Federation (RUFF) will be holding their second MMA event RUFF 2 at the JiangNan Sports Center in Chongqing, China, on Saturday, December 17th.
RUFF has announced an official partnership with Chongqing TV, the region’s largest satellite and cable television provider, With access to over 27 million households in the municipality alone, and available nationally on every major Chinese cable provider.
They are the first MMA organization in China to use the unified rules, RUFF will be bringing in veteran, C.O.M.M.A.N.D.-certified Canadian referee Jerin Valel to oversee the event’s officiating, player safety and fight integrity.
Fighters come from Beijing, Xi’An, Hong Kong, Tianjin and Shanghai, including 2011 Abu Dhabi World Pro Cup Champion Rodrigo Caporal and veteran Muay Thai specialist Irshaad Sayed plus fighters who were successful at the first RUFF event – These include lightweights Wang Guan and Zhang LiPeng and featherweight Jumabieke Tuerxun.
